HOW TO USE
The easy-to-follow directions are included with the Italian Sausage-Free Mix. Always hydrate the mix before using it in your recipe.
To use Vejje Italian Sausage crumbles in non-baked entries (such as soups, sauces, gravies and burritos), you will want to brown the crumbles according to the directions on the label, and then add the crumbles to the entree prior to serving.
For baked entrees (such as pizza, lasagna and casseroles), there is no need to brown the crumbles. Simply add the uncooked crumbles to the recipe and bake.
Vejje Italian Sausage also makes great patties. The instructions are on the label.
TIP: Use wet hands to prevent uncooked crumbles from sticking to hands. Leftover crumbles and patties can be refrigerated up to 7 days or frozen up to 3 months.
