Unless a recipe specifically calls for using DRY Vejje Chicken Free Mix, always HYDRATE Vejje Chicken according to package directions BEFORE using it in your recipe.
Hydrated & cooked Vejje Chicken can be refrigerated for up to 7 days and frozen for 3 months.
We suggest that you use a small kitchen scale (available at grocery stores and online) and prepare Vejje Chicken using the weight by ounces – rather than cups – measurement. Doing so will yield a more accurate measure and better replicate the recipes as developed and tested by our Vejje team.
Use only hot water to hydrate Vejje Chicken. Hot tap water is acceptable.
