1/4 cupGround Quick Oats(Grind in blender into powder before measuring)
1/4 tspGranulated Garlic
Mix the dry Vejje Ground Beef Mix, quick oats and spices together in a bowl. Add the HOT water and olive oil and mix well with a spoon.
Set the mixture aside and let rest for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 350 and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Scoop the mixture out, a tablespoon at a time, and roll into balls. Place formed balls onto parchment lined cookie sheet.
Bake in oven at 350 for about 10 minutes. Turn the balls over and bake for another 9 or 10 minutes, or until the balls are nicely browned.
IMPORTANT: Let the meatballs rest for AT LEAST 10 minutes before enjoying with favorite sauce.
It is easier if you grind a cup or more of quick oats, as opposed to a smaller amount. Use the 1/4 cup needed for this recipe and save the remaining powder in a covered glass container to make more Vejje meatballs in the future.
