2TablespoonsOlive oil(canola oil can be substituted)
1 1/2 CupsHOT tap water
In a large bowl, place dry Vejje Mix and flour, stir well.
Add the HOT tap water and oil. Stir until fully mixed.
Cover and set aside for 15 minutes.
Fill mixture into 1/3 measuring cup, empty cup, flatten into patties using spatula.
Cook in a pre-heated lightly oiled skillet over medium-low heat -- about 3 minutes each side or as desired.
Once you have successfully prepared Vejje Burgers a few times, try adding some finely chopped sautéed onions and carrots (about 1/2 cup) or minced raw onions to the Vejje mix along with the hot water and flour. Or, sauté a cup of finely chopped mushrooms and add them to the burger mix along with the hot water and flour. Or, add finely chopped sautéed greens to the mix.
