Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup DRY Veggie Sausage Mix (4 oz)
  • 3/4 cup HOT tap water
  • 2 TBSP olive oil or canola oil
  • 1 TBSP maple syrup (recommended but optional)
  • 1 tsp rubbed sage (optional)
Instructions
  1. Place the above ingredients together in a bowl. Stir with spoon or fork until fully mixed.
  2. Set aside for 5 minutes.
  3. Fill mixture into 1/4 measuring cup, empty cup, flatten into 1/2" patties with spatula. ALLOW PATTIES TO REST FOR 10 MINUTES.
  4. Cook the patties in a pre-heated lightly oiled skillet over medium heat, about 3 minutes each side.
TIPS
  1. Vejje Breakfast Patties are delicious prepared ahead of time and refrigerated (use within 7 days) or frozen (use within 3 months). To reheat, simply heat in a light oiled skillet or microwave until warm.
  2. Serve Vejje Sausage with pancakes or waffles or use Vejje Breakfast Patties to make delicious sandwiches for breakfast or lunch!
