Ingredients
  • 5.3 Ounces DRY Vejje Ground Beef (1 1/4 Cups)
  • 1 1/3 Cups HOT tap water
  • 2 Tablespoons olive or canola oil
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in a large bowl. Stir until fully mixed.
  2. Cover and set aside for 30 minutes to fully hydrate.
  3. Uncover and use a spoon or fork to crumble. Vejje Meatless Ground Beef crumbles are now ready to be used in place of ground beef in virtually any recipe.
TIPS
  1. For use in your own soups, sauces and chili, simply brown the ground beef in a lightly oiled skillet over medium heat. Then add the browned ground beef to your soup, sauce, or chili about 5 minutes before serving.
  2. Vejje ground beef is also great for baking (think pizza and lasagna). If baking with Vejje ground beef there is no need to brown before adding.
